Through a unique partnership with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, when school academic or extra-curricular activities are not in session, the Cornelius Parks & Recreation Department is able to offer programs at Bailey Middle School as Bailey Road Recreation Center and JV Washam Elementary School as JV Washam Recreation Center. Some of these programs include youth sports leagues, drop-in adult gym time, youth orchestra, fitness classes, special events and rentals to area sports organizations and other groups or individuals.
Looking for the Northern Regional Recreation Center? While it is located in Cornelius at 18121 Old Statesville Road, it is owned and operated by Mecklenburg County and not the Town. Please call them at 980-314-6772 for more information.
