Pet of the Week at the Cornelius Animal Shelter - Buddy PDF Print E-mail
Buddy_05.04.12The Cornelius Animal Shelter would like to introduce Buddy as the new Pet of the Week.

Buddy is a 2 year old handsome Boxer/Ridgeback mix that was recently picked up as a stray. He has a shiny reddish brown coat and a strong muscular build. He is very friendly and very energetic, but needs some leash training. We found out that he came from a home with kids so he is use to being around children but the family is no longer able to care for him. He would make a good pet for an active family.

Charlotte Woman Arrested for Filing a False Police Report PDF Print E-mail
On Sunday, April 15, 2012 at approximately 4:00am, Cornelius Police responded to a call of a reported robbery.  The victim, Stephanie Hall of Rolling Hill Road in Charlotte, reported that she was walking in the vicinity of Catawba Avenue and Holiday Lane when someone grabbed her from behind, shook her violently causing her to drop her purse and $40.00 was stolen from her.
