WE HAVE A New master Plan!
Our 2024-2034 Comprehensive Parks and Greenways Master Plan was approved by the Town Board on March 18, 2024. The new plan identifies current and emerging needs and will allow the Town to refine and develop its parks and greenways to help meet those needs over the next several years. Additionally, it will provide the Town with a competitive advantage when applying for grants. Research used to create the new plan included a scientific survey and stakeholder interviews conducted by UNC Charlotte's Master of Public Administration program as well as a public, online survey, resulting in participation from hundreds of Cornelius residents.
