Pickleball

DocumentPickleball is a fun and increasingly popular sport that resembles a mix between tennis, badminton and ping-pong.  It is played using a perforated plastic ball (similar to a whiffle ball) and usually composite paddles. This very social sport  is easy for beginners to learn and can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players.

At each of the tennis courts, there are pickleball lines to be used with our tennis nets. There are additional lines painted at Torrence Chapel Park (6 courts) and at Robbins Park (4 courts), which require the use of portable pickleball nets. Please note that the portable nets located at both sites are the property of Lake Norman Pickleball Association.
