 Bailey Road Park Master Plan

The original Bailey Road Park Master Plan was adopted in 2000 and, since that time, several phases have been completed in accordance with the original vision. Since the population of Cornelius has grown and changed over time, along with its citizens' needs, wants, and interests, the Cornelius Parks & Recreation Department is re-envisioning the plan for the next phases of Bailey Road Park. Public input for this new Master Plan will come from a public workshop and an online survey.

A new conceptual plan has been developed and will be presented. Recreation amenities planned for the next phase include conversion of the existing tennis courts to pickleball courts and construction of new tennis courts, restroom building, observation area, parking and a restaurant.
