On Wednesday, Oct. 4th, the Cornelius Police Department partnered with Cornelius Elementary School families for National Walk and Bike to School Day. Residents from met at Smithville Park and walked together along Catawba Ave to Cornelius Elementary.  The goal of this day is to raise awareness and support for the health, community and environmental benefits of regularly walking or biking to school.
