On Thursday, August 20, 2015, Cornelius Police Support Services Lt. Wally and Patrol Officer Stevenson delivered school supplies to area schools that were collected from Pack the Patrol Car event.

In the month of August, the Cornelius Police Department hosted a school supply drive to collect items for students at Cornelius Elementary, J.V. Washam Elementary, Bailey Middle School, and W.A. Hough High School. Cornelius Police collected over 1,800 school supplies and the items were packed into boxes and delivered to the schools.

The Cornelius Police Department would like to thank everyone who donated school supplies and helped make Pack the Patrol Car a successful community event! Special thanks to the residents of Bailey's Glen Resort Community for their donation of supplies!
