On March 4, 2015, Cornelius Police Chief Bence Hoyle was publicly recognized by the Chief Justice of the NC Supreme Court, Mark Martin, during his State of the Judiciary address in a joint session between the NC Senate and House for his work with the North Carolina Association of Chiefs of Police.
