Shred It

On Saturday, March 21, 2015 from 9:00am to 12:00pm, the Cornelius Police Department will host a Document Shredding Event in the parking lot of Cornelius Town Hall, 21445 Catawba Avenue.

The Document Shredding Event, sponsored by Shred-it, is FREE to the community. There will be a 4 bag/box maximum per resident or business. No 3 ring binders or metal binder clips are allowed. You do not need to remove paper clips or staples. The public is encouraged to bring documents such as obsolete tax documents, financial statements, cancelled checks, insurance documents, business records or any records that they want safely destroyed to this event.

Document shredding is an opportunity for the public to learn about the dangers of identity theft and take action in preventing identity theft from occurring in the community.
