Cornelius residents are invited to help the Town of Cornelius and the Cornelius Police Department collect canned goods and non-perishable food items for the Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry.
Recommended items include canned soups, beans, fruits, vegetables, cereal, pasta, and rice.
From November 10 to November 21, canned goods and non-perishable food donations can be dropped off Monday through Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm in the lobby of Cornelius Town Hall, 21445 Catawba Ave and the Cornelius Police Department, 21440 Catawba Avenue.
On Monday, November 24, Cornelius staff and officers will deliver all the donated items to the Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry located at the Ada Jenkins Center in Davidson. This food pantry serves residents of Cornelius, Davidson, Huntersville and South Iredell.
