Hosted by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department and the Mecklenburg County Sherriff's Office, this annual event honors local law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty.

Officers Martin, Williams, and Griffin marched with hundreds of other officers from various agencies in Mecklenburg County from CMPD Headquarters to the First Baptist Church on South Davidson Street in Uptown Charlotte. A remembrance ceremony was held followed by a luncheon in the Fellowship Hall.
