Please be aware of the following traffic alerts around Cornelius for Saturday, September 28th and Sunday, September 29th.

On Saturday, September 28th and Sunday, September 29th, there will be lane closures on Jetton Road from the Jetton Village area to John Connor Road from approximately 7:00AM to 12:00 Noon for the Be the Match Race (9/28) and Lung Strong (9/29) charity races.
Officers will be directing traffic at major intersections and volunteers will be stationed at other intersections to alert drivers of lane closures. Please use caution while driving in this area during those times.

On Sunday, September 29th in the area of Bailey Road from approximately 10:00am to 4:00pm, be aware of cyclists and runners participating in the Carolina Half Tri-athlon event between Bailey Road Park and Hough High School. Cyclists will be utilizing Bailey Road and runners will be on the sidewalk. NOTE - BAILEY ROAD PARK WILL BE CLOSED FROM 4:00AM - 4:00PM.

Officers and volunteers will be stationed along Bailey Road to occasionally stop traffic. Please use caution while driving in this area during those times.
