[ARCHIVED] Cornelius Police Investigate Armed Robbery at Bojangles

On Thursday, January 31, 2013 at approximately 8:00pm, Cornelius Police Officers were dispatched to the Bojangles Restaurant, 20214 West Catawba Avenue, in reference to an Armed Robbery in progress.

When Officers arrived, witnesses described the suspect as a 6'2" - 6'3", thin build, black male wearing all black and a black mask. He was carrying a large, black, semi-automatic pistol. The suspect exited the restaurant out the back door and fled on foot.

Cornelius Police Detectives are investigating the case and anyone with information is asked to call (704)892-7773 or the North Mecklenburg Crime Stoppers hotline at (704)896-7867 and you may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000. You can remain anonymous.
