On December 15, 2022, the Cornelius Police Department received a report of a missing juvenile, Madalina Cojocari, that was last seen on November 23, 2022. Madalina Cojocari is an 11-year-old white female. She weighs approximately 90 pounds. She was last seen wearing jeans, pink, purple and white Adidas shoes, and a white t-shirt and jacket.

The Cornelius Police Department has requested and received assistance from the FBI and the SBI in the search for Madalina Cojocari.
