[ARCHIVED] 2022 Adopt-a-Family for the Holidays

Adopt-a-Family

The 2022 Adopt-A-Family for the Holidays program with the Cornelius Police Department is underway! We have had a great response from people requesting to sponsor a family for our  Adopt-A-Family for the Holidays program. We are no longer accepting sponsors but we are still looking for families that need to be sponsored. Thank you to everyone who signed up to sponsor a family this year!

If you would like to still help in some way by giving this season, we will be collecting gift cards to grocery stores/restaurants/other local retail stores. These gift cards will then be dispersed among the list of families we have for this year’s program. Should you wish to donate gift cards, they may be brought to the Police Department anytime Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Those who have registered to be a sponsor will be paired with a wish list from a family. Wrapped gifts can be brought to the Cornelius Police Department anytime between December 5th and December 16th. The final day to bring gifts is December 17th and they must be dropped off at Cornelius Town Hall at 9 a.m.

If you are a family interested in being sponsored, please complete the Family Adoption Information Form by Monday, November 29th. Families interested in being sponsored MUST live in the Town of Cornelius.

For additional information, please contact Corporal Graham Smith at 704-892-1363.
