Work will occur in front of the Cornelius Town Center Development on Sunday morning, 09/19/21. This will close the sidewalk and on-street parking on Catawba Avenue between Mulberry Street and Jane Crump Way.
The Cornelius Town Center HOA and Town of Cornelius are partnering to remove some of the trees in front of the Cornelius Town Center Development. The HOA has concerns about the size and health of the trees. The trees are blocking the visibility of the businesses and are creating safety issues with blocked street lighting and damaged sidewalks. Several of the trees are in poor health as well. The work should be done by noon on Sunday.
