[ARCHIVED] Cornelius PD Investigate Defrauding Case

Cornelius Detectives are currently investigating a case involving a subject, identifying himself as a “Jamari Thomas,” who has been in Cornelius selling pine needles and offering the service to spread the needles. The subject seems to have the intent to defraud those that are believed to be more vulnerable victims, particularly the elderly, by charging a large amount of money for the service. The truck pictured displays an Alabama tag of TS67F93 and the trailer displays a Georgia tag of 2047A and is being driven by a black male. If you see this vehicle, please contact the police department at (704)892-7773. We ask you share this information with your neighbors who might not have access to social media and our website.  Please, if you have elderly family or neighbors, remind them to be careful who they accept services from and if something doesn’t seem right they can call 911. Truck1Truck
