On Friday, May 10th, heavy traffic will be expected in the Cornelius area. This will be due to the procession of fallen K9 Officer Jordan Sheldon from Calvary Church in Charlotte to the Mooresville Police Department. The procession is set to start following services at 11AM. 

 Our Officers will be closing the Exit 28 northbound on-ramp to I-77 just before the procession is to arrive in our area until after the procession has completely passed. A Cornelius-Lemley Fire Truck will also be in the roadway blocking the far-left lane heading westbound on the Diverging Diamond of Catawba Avenue.
