Cornelius PARC invites you to join Senior Fit Club taught by Joni Dunn, who has over six years of fitness instruction. This 6-week fitness program is designed specifically for active adults 50 and up. Participants will take part in active exercise, functional resistance exercises, and flexibility (yoga-like) training designed to increase muscular strength and improve mobility, all while improving overall balance and neuromuscular skills.
Our focus will be on:
Mobility and flexibility
Fitness and vitality
Up and down exercises
Participants must bring:
Hand weights (1 to 5 pounds, depending on fitness level)
Water bottle and towel
Mondays and Wednesdays
