Pickleball is a fun and increasingly popular sport that resembles a mix between tennis, badminton and ping-pong. It is played using a perforated plastic ball (similar to a whiffle ball) and wood or composite paddles. This very social sport is easy for beginners to learn and can develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players.
Join the Cornelius Parks & Recreation Department for free indoor play pickleball for adults ages 50 and up at JV Washam Recreation Center.
We will have courts designated for beginners and for intermediate players.
There will be paddles available for play. For more information, please contact John Anderson or call 704-896-2460, extension 188, or 704-622-6136.
