2020 Summer Camps

Thank you for your interest in our summer camps!

The great news is that we are allowed to offer camps this summer but, due to COVID-19, some have been canceled. Full refunds are being processed for any camps that we have canceled. For those that are still moving forward, some have changed location or time and most have reduced capacity. Please read this letter from our PARC Director for more information, including some of the steps we are taking to keep your children and our staff safe. This letter also contains information regarding our adjusted refund policy.

  • All weeks of our full-day option, Summer Day Camps, are sold out. Summer Day Camps have been moved from Bailey Road Recreation Center to Cornelius Town Hall. View the revised SDC Parent Information Guide.
  • Most of our Summer Sports Camps are still moving forward and many still have space remaining. All of these camps have moved to outdoor locations, except for bowling. Be aware that sports camps will NOT include playing of scrimmages or games due to the difficulty of maintaining social distancing during these activities. Here is the most up-to-date list of sports camps still on as well as those canceled. Please note that this list was last updated on Wednesday, July 1, and is subject to change.
  • Most of our Summer Arts & Recreation Camps are still moving forward and many still have space remaining. Be aware that these are indoor camps and will require that all staff, instructors, and children wear masks during the camp day, except for the snack break. Here is the most up-to-date list of arts and recreation camps still on as well as those canceled. Please note that this list was last updated on Wednesday, July 1, and is subject to change.
  • All camp families are required to sign and submit a new additional COVID-19 waiver this year. Download the waiver. Once completed, submit via email, fax to 704-896-2462, or mail to Cornelius PARC, PO Box 399, Cornelius, NC  28031
