2019 Outdoor Cinema Series

Join us for outdoor movies under the stars! This year’s series offers an exciting line-up of movies, with something for every member of the family.

All movies will be shown on our inflatable “blimp” screen, are free and open to the public. Movie dates, time, and location are subject to change. Don’t forget to bring your lawn chairs and blankets! (Coolers and picnic baskets are welcome. NO glass bottles or containers, tobacco products, smoking, e-cigs, pets or open flames.) Concessions will be available for purchase.
Weather permitting, movies will begin at dusk (approximately 8:30 p.m.). Movies are edited for general content. Family fun activities, including lawn games, etc.,  will begin at 6:30 p.m.
*On July 27, the “Boat-In” at Ramsey Creek Park, hosted by the Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation Department, will give spectators the opportunity to view the movie from land or from the lake.  Boaters will be able to watch the movie from their boats and receive audio via boat radio or handheld radio.  The designated radio channel will be better received by above-water boat antennas or via use of a handheld radio.  The radio station in use will be displayed on the blimp screen fifteen minutes prior to the movie’s start.
