Outdoor Cinema Series Bring your chairs and blankets to Robbins Park on Friday, September 24, for a free outdoor movie, The Croods: A New Age. The movie begins at dusk, approximately 8:30 p.m. Concessions available for purchase.
 AA Dog Show Are you ready for a paw-some time? Join us for the 21st Annual All American Dog Show at Robbins Park on Saturday, October 2, 3-6 p.m.! Take advantage of early-bird registration for $8, or you can register on the day of the event for $12. Registration includes entry into the All American Dog contest as well as two (2) additional contests of your choice. In addition to fun contests, visitors are able to enjoy pet-related vendor tents, concessions, and children’s activities.
NNO logo The Cornelius Police and Parks & Recreation Departments are hosting National Night Out, a free public event promoting community safety and crime prevention. Join us at Bailey Road Park on Tuesday, October 5, 6-8 p.m. for an evening filled with family fun, including children's activities, food, entertainment and more!
Hooked.400 Join CPRD and Lake Norman Wild life Conservationists for Hooked on Cornelius, Saturday, October 9, 10 a.m.-12 p.m., at the Robbins Park upper pond. This free fishing event is for boys and girls ages 7-12. Parents/guardians are encouraged to participate with their children. Fishing rods will be available for participant use during the event. Pre-registration is required.
Holiday Hike Join CPRD and Mecklenburg County at Ramsey Creek Park for Outdoor Adventures: Autumn Afternoon Walk on Friday, October 15 from 2-4 p.m. All ages are invited on a leisurely hike around the park led by Laura Domingo, a naturalist with Mecklenburg County. Free, but pre-registration required.  No pets or strollers permitted. Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

laketoberfest
Laketoberfest is back! Bring the family to Bailey Road Park, Saturday, October 23, from 4-9 p.m. and enjoy this award-winning event featuring over a dozen local craft breweries, NC wine and cider, and a variety of food trucks, vendors, and other concessions. Admission, parking, and shuttle service are free. NO PETS. Event proceeds benefit Lake Norman Wildlife Conservationists.
Fitness group View our list of Athletics, Fitness Classes & Recreation programs. Register now for the next sessions of our popular fitness classes, or enjoy adult open gym nights for basketball or pickleball. Plus, Cardio Funk is back on Saturdays!

The 5th Annual Beyond Walls Public Art Exhibition is open at Robbins Park. This award-winning exhibit will be on display through January 31, 2020, and features 7 sculptures by 6 artists. Join us on Saturday, June 1, at 3:30 p.m. for and Artist Tour! The public is invited to cast a vote for their favorite sculpture through June 30, 2019 for the "People's Choice Award".  Enjoy!

Registration for the Spring A session of adult art education classes is now open! We are happy to announce the return of watercolor classes at CAC, including the return of both adult beginner and intermediate-to-advanced painting! The 6-week-long sessions will begin the week of February 22.

Register NOW for Earth Jam 2021Saturday, April 24, 5-7 p.m. at Robbins Park. Enjoy a free bluegrass concert by Carolina Divide. Concessions will be available for purchase. Registration is required regardless of age and is now open! Masks are required for this event.
