Tawba 2022 It's time to do the 'Tawba Walk! This free, Town-sponsored arts and music festival will fill the area in and around downtown Cornelius on Saturday, September 24, 2-8 p.m., with music stages, food trucks, artists, crafters, and more! 
youth yoga Register boys and girls ages 7-14 for our Youth Yoga classes, where participants can improve their self-confidence, mood, and concentration and decrease anxiety and stress levels through stretching. Taught by Tiny Blooms Yoga, these sessions are held outdoors at Legion Park on Thursdays starting September 29. 
All American Dog Show Early bird registration is open now for the 22nd Annual All American Dog Show, to be held at Robbins Park on Saturday, October 1, 3-6 p.m. No charge to attend, just to register your furry friend in some of the ten fun contests, such as Fluffiest Coat, Best Trick, or Spectacular Spots. Enjoy a day of dog-related entertainment, vendors, and more! Save $5 by registering in advance!
bball.jpg Registration for our 25th season of the Cornelius-Davidson Youth Basketball League opens on Saturday, October 1, for Cornelius and Davidson residents, and on Saturday, October 8, for residents of all towns. Practice begin in late November for this very popular winter league. For girls ages 5-14 and boys ages 5-16.

Fall LeavesAntiquity-Boardwalk Join us on Saturday, October 8, 9-10:30 a.m. for our Outdoor Adventures: Urban Hike! From the Town Hall Lawn, we will head over to the Antiquity Greenway with members of Heads Up Cornelius, talking about opportunities to walk in downtown Cornelius, pedestrian safety, and our greenway initiatives, and Laura Domingo, a naturalist with Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation, providing information about flora and fauna along the way. Pre-registration is encouraged!

Ptretzels-Laketoberfest
It's time to celebrate the ten-year anniversary of Laketoberfest! Come on out to Bailey Road Park on Saturday, October 15, 4-9 p.m., for live performances from Groove Machine and Unknown Artist, over a dozen local craft breweries, NC wine and cider, and a variety of food trucks, vendors, and concessions, plus our Kids Zone, axe throwing, and more. Admission, parking, and shuttle service are free. NO PETS allowed at this event.

The 5th Annual Beyond Walls Public Art Exhibition is open at Robbins Park. This award-winning exhibit will be on display through January 31, 2020, and features 7 sculptures by 6 artists. Join us on Saturday, June 1, at 3:30 p.m. for and Artist Tour! The public is invited to cast a vote for their favorite sculpture through June 30, 2019 for the "People's Choice Award".  Enjoy!

Registration for the Spring A session of adult art education classes is now open! We are happy to announce the return of watercolor classes at CAC, including the return of both adult beginner and intermediate-to-advanced painting! The 6-week-long sessions will begin the week of February 22.
