Town Codes

There are 2 types of codes that govern the Town:

1. The Code of Ordinances enumerates the powers of the Town of Cornelius. 
   
   
2. The Land Development Code specifies how development may occur within the Town.  The Code is enforced by the Zoning Code Enforcement Officer and any changes to the Code must be reviewed by the Land Development Code Committee and the Planning Board before being considered for adoption by the Town Board of Commissioners.
