The City of Charlotte has launched the CVS Caremark Prescription Discount program to provide residents with some relief from the high cost of prescription drugs. This program is estimated to save citizens of Charlotte an average of 20% off the full retail cost of prescription medications. The discount cards may be used by all residents in Charlotte-Mecklenburg and has no age, income or health coverage restrictions. Cards are available to the public at no cost at the Charlotte Transportation Center Pass and Information Office at the transportation center while supplies last.  If you have questions about the cards, you may call a toll-free customer care line at 1-888-620-1749 or visit www.caremark.com/nlc for assistance with the program, to locate a pharmacy or request information in Spanish.
