July 13th Planning Board Agenda items:

TA 01-09:  Proposed Text Amendments to Chapters 2 and 10 of the Land Development Code to permit electronic signage.

REZ 04-09 CORNELIUS ONE CONDITIONAL ZONING: Request by owner, Group Three Holdings, LLC/Kenny Habul to rezone a portion of Parcel 00186101 and all of 00186104 from Neighborhood Residential/Neighborhood Mixed Use  to Village Center Conditional Zoning to allow for a three-story mixed use building on 2.87 acres for retail, restaurant, and general office use.  Location: 18625 & 18635 West Catawba Ave. Current Use: Vacant Single-Family Residential.

Recently Approved Projects:

REZ 03-09 FOUR POINTS BY SHERATON CZ:  Request to construct a hotel on 3.049 acres located on Holiday Lane (abutting the north side of the Days Inn property).  Zoning: Highway Commercial Conditional Zoning, LKN Critical Watershed Area. PID: 00338106.  Approved by the Town Board on April 20, 2009.

SITE 03-09 CRANDALL OFFICES MAJOR ARCHITECTURAL VARIATION:  Request by owner, Kunkleman & Assoc. LLC, to allow construction of a one story building on .68 acres in the Village Center zoning district where the minimum height requirement of principle structures is 26'.  PID:  00114609.  Location:  SW corner of Knox Rd. extension at Kunkleman Dr. Current Use: Vacant. Proposed Use: Office.  Approved by the Board of Adjustment on May 11, 2009.
