The Cornelius Parks, Arts, Recreation and Culture (PARC) Department works to enhance the lives of citizens and visitors by providing great parks, natural areas and recreational experiences, from sports leagues and fitness classes to summer camps and art classes. What’s Happening

Tennis Lacrosse
Come to the Xtreme Lacrosse Labor Day Free Clinic on Monday, September 7, 4:00-5:30pm at Smithville Park. For boys and girls, in grades 2-8.
Register now for Free Tennis Clinics for youth and adults, hosted by the LKN Tennis Association and instructed by the LKN Tennis Academy, to begin in September.

Tawba Walk Join us for a 'Tawba Walk on Saturday, September 19, 2:00-8:00pm. Enjoy local vendors, music, food trucks, and more! Be sure to drop by the Cornelius Arts Center from 2:00-5:00om for pottery demos and special children's art activities and from 6:00-8:00pm for the opening reception of our next gallery show, Awakening.
Ceramics at CAC

AA Dog Show
Come to the 15th Annual All American Dog Show on Saturday, October 3, 4:00-7:00pm, at Bailey Road Park Track & Field. You can bring your furry friend and register for fun categories or just enjoy the festivities as a spectator.

Morning Glory Stop by beautiful Robbins Park and check out our first public art exhibition, Beyond Walls. The show will be on display until November 17, 2015. 
Fitness Classes View our list of Arts, Athletics, Recreation, Special Events and Special Needs Programs.  Register now for the next sessions of our popular fitness classes. We now offer drop-in Cardio Funk and PiYo classes!
