The Cornelius Parks, Arts, Recreation and Culture (PARC) Department works to enhance the lives of citizens and visitors by providing great parks, natural areas and recreational experiences, from sports leagues and fitness classes to summer camps and art classes.  Don't see what you like?  Make a suggestion! 


What’s Happening
Summer Camps Registration for summer camps is now open and spaces are filling quickly! We offer over 140 Sports, Arts & Recreation and Special Needs partial-day camps. It is easy to register online - read more!
Ceramics at CAC
Explore the Cornelius Arts Center: Our remodeled Center features great art exhibits, classes and workshops for all ages!  We are currently registering for Summer Sessions and have many exciting, new classes for all ages. Read more.
Outdoor Cinema Series Enjoy our Outdoor Cinema Series! UP NEXT: The Hunger Games: Catching Fire on Wednesday, August 6, at Kenton Place. Weather permitting, movies will begin at dusk (approximately 8:30 pm), are free and open to the public, with refreshments available for purchase at each showing. Don’t forget to bring your lawn chairs & blankets! 
NNO 2014 Bring the whole family to celebrate National Night Out on Tuesday, August 5 from 6-8pm at Torrence Chapel Park. This free event includes children's activities, entertainment,
food and more!
Youth Volleyball Register now through August 15 for the Huntersville-Cornelius Youth Volleyball League's fall season. For girls, ages 9-18. Find out more.
Adult softball coed team Registration is now open for Fall Adult Softball. We offer both Men's C and Co-Ed divisions.

Smithville Park playground We offer a variety of Parks, Recreation & Arts Centers and Trails & Greenways for your enjoyment. Read more about renting a shelter, field or court.
Robbins Park Trail Robbins Park Phase III:  Pardon our mess while we grow! Construction is underway and for your safety the nature preserve trails and both ponds are closed to the public through March 1, 2015. The tennis courts, playground, picnic shelter/restrooms and multi-purpose field will remain open throughout the construction process. Nearby Jetton and Bailey Road Parks offer walking trails and Ramsey Creek Park and Blythe Landing offer fishing opportunities.
